Rafael Thissen has joined Refrigerated Solutions Group (RSG) as key account director.
Thissen is known as a highly respected industry veteran with deep relationships within the foodservice industry, RSG said in a press release. His extensive culinary and operations background is expected to make him an excellent partner for the manufacturer’s key customers.
“I am excited to join the RSG team, supporting their well-established key-account partnerships and developing new ones,” Thissen said. “(I’m) looking forward to introducing and collaborating on new RSG technologies with all our partners and growing the RSG position in this vibrant industry.”
Most recently, Thissen served as the senior account executive with H&K International, where he was instrumental in managing all aspects of new account development. Before H&K, he was director of client development at Rational and the global corporate chef at Duke Manufacturing.
Thissen is the newest addition to RSG’s expanded national accounts team and will be vital to its ongoing strategy to provide best-in-class support to its partners, the company said. After completing an extensive onboarding program, he will manage several of RSG’s legacy accounts and cultivate relationships with new accounts.
