During its annual convention held March 28 - April 1, 2012 at the J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona, FEDA elected new officers and board members and thanked those who have served the Association well in recent years.
Brad Wasserstrom, The Wasserstrom Company assumes the role of President; Brad Pierce of Restaurant Equipment World will serve as Vice President; Joe Schmitt of Rapids Foodservice Contract and Design will be the Association’s Treasurer and Mason Greene of Hotel & Restaurant Supply will serve as the Association’s new Secretary. Jim Hanson, Best Restaurant Equipment and Design Inc. will now serve as Chairman of the Board.
FEDA thanks outgoing chairman of the board Kimberley Gill Rimsza of TriMark Gill Marketing for her many fine years of service to the Association. In addition to Rimsza, the Association recognizes the service of outgoing Board members: Walne Donald, Mobile Fixture & Equipment Co., Charlie Fusari, Myers Restaurant Supply, Richard Manias, Dine Company and Scott Miller, State Restaurant Equipment. They have all served the Association well and will now be retiring from the board. FEDA is grateful for all they have contributed to the Association.
Board members who were elected to serve a second term include Greg Alack of Alack Refrigeration Co. and Don Clarke of Boxer Northwest Co. Those elected to a first two year term on the Board of Directors include: LeGrande Steenblik, Restaurant & Store Equipment, Jameel Burkett, Burkett Restaurant Equipment, Patrice Hagan, R.W. Smith & Co., and Jay Gulick of Curtis Restaurant Supply. FEDA is thrilled to have these members as part of its leadership and looks forward to their service on the Board of Directors.
