FEDA is excited to announce it has partnered with the Association for Finance Professionals (AFP) to present a finance education series for FEDA members. Finance professionals who participate in the live virtual webinars and complete the survey at the end of each course will earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits for their participation.

The series will have two hour-and-a-half long sessions. The first session, 10:30 a.m. CDT on April 25, is titled Financial and Business Modeling Best Practices, and will be presented by Carl Seidman, principal of Seidman Financial. Seidman is a trusted business advisor specializing in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) business strategy and finance transformation. He coaches and advises FP&A professionals at Fortune 500 corporations and middle-market companies, helping establish best practices, processes and sustainable business models. At the same time, he brings finance professionals greater control over their careers by helping them build their skills while eliminating time-wasting activities and mistakes.

The second session, Introduction to Finance Data Analytics, will be presented at 10:30 a.m. CDT on June 13. It will be led by Prashanth Southekal, managing principal of the DBP Institute, a data and analytics consulting, research and education firm. He has consulted for more than 75 organizations including Procter & Gamble, General Electric, Shell, Apple, and SAP. He is also the author of two books — Data for Business Performance and Analytics Best Practices — and writes regularly on data, analytics and machine learning in Forbes.com, FP&A Trends and CFO University.

Registration information for these impactful training sessions will be published in the coming weeks. FEDA encourages finance professionals to save the April 25 and June 13 dates to ensure that they attend the live sessions and earn CPE credits.
