Tools Allows for Customized Analysis for Individual Companies

Market research firm Datassential and the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) have released a free web-based tool to help companies in the foodservice industry map the impact of COVID-19 on their business.

The tool allows companies to:

  • Customize an analysis for their own business
  • Calculate operator and consumer spend by segment and in total
  • Plug in assumptions or use Datassential’s recommended assumptions
  • Compare the new 2020 forecast against the 2019 actual, or how a non-COVID-19 2020 would have looked
  • Model the impact of a potential second wave of the virus
  • Download an Excel-based version of the tool.
