Emerging Dealers Project
The FEDA Emerging Dealers Project is guided by FEDA’s Emerging Dealers Council (EDC).
The FEDA Emerging Dealers Council (EDC) was established to give foodservice equipment and supplies distributors with annual sales of $40 million or less a dedicated forum to collaborate on their operational needs and priorities. The council also shares those insights with FEDA to help guide the association’s strategic planning. The council’s recommendations are intended to help shape FEDA initiatives that drive growth, operational excellence and long-term sustainability. CEOs of approximately 35 dealerships serve on the council.
Since its inception, the EDC has served as both an advisory body and a peer learning group, contributing insights around operational challenges, market dynamics, and evolving workforce needs. Over the past year, discussions have increasingly focused on dealer needs related to: 1) attracting and retaining employees; 2) improving operational efficiency, especially in the use of technology; and 3) growing sales and overall business capacity through peer discussions.
