The survey has long been one of FEDA's most valuable member resources for supporting informed decision-making and long-term strategic planning.

2026 Profit Survey

FEDA distributor members will be invited to participate in the 2026 Profit Survey starting at the end of April. This year, FEDA is excited to be partnering with Dynamic Benchmarking to deliver a more streamlined submission process and enhanced, real-time reporting capabilities.

The revamped survey will be conducted through a secure online platform that allows distributor teams to collaborate on submissions while ensuring strict confidentiality. Owners, finance teams, operations executives, and other key stakeholders can all contribute simultaneously, and once completed, each team member will have access to customized dashboards and reports tailored to their specific needs. Participants will receive immediate KPIs based on their company’s performance, with additional benchmarking comparisons becoming available as more companies complete the survey and the ability to export data for use in planning sessions, board meetings, and strategic analysis.

Final benchmarking reports and expanded analysis will be available in July.

Profit Survey Launch Group

Prior to launching the 2026 Profit Survey, FEDA is inviting a small group of distributor members to be early evaluators and test the updated survey platform. We will ask participants to review the new submission process, evaluate the survey questions, and provide feedback. Participants in the launch group will have early access to their business' KPIs and the ability to shape the metrics that matter to their operations.

The Profit Survey Launch Group will help refine the survey structure, improve the clarity of questions, and ensure the platform is as user-friendly and efficient as possible. The feedback gathered during testing will play an important role in shaping the final survey experience and ensuring it delivers meaningful benchmarking insights for participating distributors. Once the launch group is completed and the survey is finalized, all other distributors will receive an email invitation to participate at the end of April and will be given 8 weeks for companies to submit their responses.
