The Hotspot for Hospitality
Host Milano to highlight growing foodservice segments and product innovation trends at the 2025 National Restaurant Association Show.
HostMilano, the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to hotels, restaurants and catering, returns in 2025 for the 44th edition of the exhibition. Organizers are planning a whole new lineup of events and exhibitors aimed at maintaining HostMilano’s status as the point of reference for foodservice and hospitality professionals who want to discover the innovations shaping the future of the industry.
When it was last held in 2023, HostMilano drew more than 180,000 visitors and featured 2,100 exhibitors from 50 countries. Next year’s event, which will be presented Oct. 17-21, 2025, at Fieramilano in Rho, Italy, looks to be even bigger thanks to its expanded offerings. Attendees will gain a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, technologies and innovations in each of the show’s main thematic areas: professional catering, bakery, pizza and pasta, coffee, tea, bar and coffee machines, vending, ice cream, pastries, furniture, tableware, and technology.
Making its long-awaited return to HostMilano is the World Barista Championship (WBC), a renowned coffee competition that focuses on the excellence of coffee and the professional growth of baristas. Celebrating a global market that is expected to surpass the $500 billion mark by 2028, the WBC combines the opportunity for professionals to demonstrate their expertise and creativity with the enhancement of raw materials and innovative technologies that enable their highest expression.
Another main attraction will be the revamped Milano Pane Pizza Pasta (MIPPP) section, a dedicated area that highlights equipment and technology providers in the global bread and bakery products market. The inclusion of next-generation technologies such as automation equipment is expected to bolster an already rich collection of top Italian and foreign players in the MIPPP. Further, the MIPPP will feature its own reference event that will share data, trends and education through cooking demonstrations and presentations by industry leaders.
Attendees will learn even more about the industry’s most groundbreaking solutions through the Smart Label – Host Innovation Award. The award, now in its seventh edition, recognizes products that offer cutting-edge answers and stand out in terms of change, functions, technological development, and environmental, social and economic sustainability.
The show is still more than 10 months away and there is a lot more information to come. To learn more and to view details on the event schedule, please visit https://host.fieramilano.it/en/.
