ARK MFG Acquires Therma-Tek to Expand Commercial Cooking Portfolio
ARK MFG, the parent company of Amerikooler, has acquired Therma-Tek Commercial Cooking Solutions, a nationally respected manufacturer of professional commercial cooking equipment. This strategic move expands ARK MFG’s American-made manufacturing portfolio into the hot side of commercial kitchen solutions.
“This acquisition continues us down our path of investing in American-made manufacturing and expanding the range of products we can offer our customers,” said Gian Carlo Alonso, founder and CEO of ARK MFG. “This is one of the most exciting ventures we’ve taken on yet. I’ve always wanted to build a world-class cooking line, and now we’re proudly adding the hot side alongside our refrigeration offerings.”
As part of ARK MFG’s commitment to revitalizing and growing Therma-Tek, the company is making significant investments in reinvigorating the manufacturing business. This includes a comprehensive rebuild of the Therma-Tek facility and the relocation of its operations into ARK MFG’s global headquarters near Miami.
“I want to sincerely thank Don and Rebeca Pittsley for this opportunity,” Alonso added. “We are honored to build on what they’ve created and are deeply committed to making Therma-Tek the best it can be — right here in the United States.”
In a news release, ARK MFG said the Therma-Tek acquisition reinforces its mission to acquire, invest in, and grow strong U.S. manufacturing brands while driving innovation and quality across every market it serves.
