Boston Showcase Co. Elevates Equipment Purchasing With Hire

Boston Showcase Co. (BSC), a FEDA distributor member, has hired Aaron Applegate as its new equipment purchasing manager.

Applegate possesses several decades of experience in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. Most recently, he worked at Harbour Foodservice, which was acquired by Imperial Dade in April 2024. In a press release, BSC said that Applegate has built deep relationships with manufacturers and representatives across the country, developing a reputation for sharp negotiation, disciplined processes, and relentless focus on getting the right product at the right price for the customer.

In his new role, Applegate will lead BSC’s equipment purchasing function, which entails overseeing vendor relationships, pricing strategy, and procurement workflows across the company’s portfolio of projects. “I’m excited to join the Boston Showcase team,” Applegate said. “BSC has built a reputation over more than a century for doing things the right way and standing behind its customers. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the team.”
