Boston Showcase Boosts 3D Design Capabilities With New Hire

Boston Showcase Co., a FEDA distributor member, has hired Jessica Gates as its new design operations manager.

Gates is expected to use her expertise in Autodesk Revit and foodservice design coordination to help bring the dealer’s design capabilities into the 3D world. In her new role, she’ll develop best practices for both Revit and building information modeling and will work with Boston Showcase’s team to introduce smarter, cloud-based workflows that make collaboration with architects, engineers and contractors more seamless.

“Over the past few years, our foodservice design team has grown from just a few designers to a powerhouse in the industry, working on projects across restaurants, hotels, schools, corporate spaces, and all other foodservice sectors,” Boston Showcase said. “Jess’s addition is a huge step forward as we continue to raise the bar on quality, consistency and innovation.”
