Burkett to Hold Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Aug. 11

Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies and its supporters will once again take to the fairways to raise money to find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS).
The FEDA distributor member is holding the Mike Burkett Memorial Golf Outing on Monday, Aug. 11, at Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio. The event has been held annually since 2021 and is named in honor of the company’s founder, Mike Burkett, who passed away after a 34-year battle with MS. Since its inception, the golf tournament has raised more than $100,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) in support of its mission to cure MS and empower those affected by the nervous system disorder to live their best lives.
This year’s golf tournament will feature a four-person scramble format and will be followed by dinner and an awards presentation for participants and supporters. Some spots for golfers and sponsorships were still available as of Friday, Aug. 1. Those who cannot attend but who wish to show their support are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation to the NMSS here.
