Industry Veteran Joins Spaceman Sales Team

Kris Byrd has joined Spaceman, a FEDA manufacturer member specializing in soft serve and frozen beverage equipment, as director for the West and key accounts.

Byrd brings more than 20 years of experience in foodservice beverage dispensing to the role. Having begun his career at Anheuser-Busch, he later owned Liquid Logistics, a beverage sales, installation, and service company based in Austin, Texas. After selling Liquid Logistics in 2021, he joined Micro Matic as a business development manager and was later promoted to director of national accounts.

At Spaceman, Byrd will oversee the western territory as well as national and key accounts headquartered in the region.

“Kris brings deep industry knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a proven track record of building and leading teams,” Spaceman CEO Jeff Resnick said. “His background as an operator, business owner, and national accounts leader gives him a unique perspective that will be valuable to our team and our partners.
