Colette Miller, a shareholder of New Age Industrial, passed away on Jan. 13, 2026, at the age of 73.

Born in 1952 in Norton, Kansas, Miller attended Northwest Kansas Vocational Technical School, studying cosmetology and business. She married Mick Miller, another member of the New Age team, in 1970. She is remembered for her dedication to ensuring New Age was a positive presence in the lives of its employees and the community. A regular presence at equipment trade shows, Miller loved talking about the company with everyone she met.

“Colette was a valued supporter of New Age, and her confidence in the company contributed meaningfully to its development and long-term success,” New Age said in a statement. “We are grateful for her support and engagement over the years.”

In addition to her passion for New Age, Miller was an avid volunteer in her community, assisting with building restorations and serving on the boards of charitable organizations such as the Norton County Community Foundation. She and her family were also instrumental in the installation and upkeep of the carousel at the Norton County Fair.

A celebration of life was held Friday, Jan. 23. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the Norton County Community Foundation or Friends of the Lake and may be sent in care of Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home, 215 W. Main St., Norton, KS, 67654.
