Star Holdings Group Names New VP of Sales and Marketing

Longtime industry salesperson Joe Carcione has joined Star Holdings Group, a Middleby company and FEDA manufacturer member, as its new vice president of sales and marketing.

Carcione joined the industry in 2007 as a Midwest sales manager for Nemco Food Equipment. In the 18 years since, he has held several sales roles at the company, including as director of sales and director of global solutions and international sales. Most recently, he was named Nemco’s vice president of sales and marketing in November 2022.

Carcione has also become increasingly involved in the larger foodservice equipment industry, having served on the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM)/Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry (MAFSI) Liaison Committee. He was also a founding member of the NAFEM Young Professionals Council and serves on the association’s Social Purpose Working Group. In 2024, his work on behalf of NAFEM culminated in an opportunity to serve on the association’s board of directors.
