The Kitchen Guys, a distributor based in the greater New Orleans area, has acquired Hawk, Inc., a dealer based in Central Alabama. Both companies are FEDA members.

Founded in 1978, Hawk has built a reputation for providing exceptional customer service, quality products, and long-standing relationships. The Kitchen Guys was established in 1955 and began operating as a foodservice equipment and supplies distributor in 1986. Company officials said the acquisition will allow the businesses to share resources, grow revenue, and increase the services they offer their respective customer bases. It will also expand The Kitchen Guys’ footprint across Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and the broader Southeast to better support customers.

The companies’ combined capabilities include design-build, equipment sales, installation, project management, procurement, and service and leasing. In a news release, The Kitchen Guys said customers and vendor partners will continue to work with the knowledgeable teams they trust and rely on every day.

“We look forward to working more closely with our customers, growing our sales area, and working every day to become the best foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the Southeastern states,” said Dustin Bennett, president and CEO of The Kitchen Guys. “I’d like to thank all our customers for helping us get to this point and we can’t wait to serve your future needs even better than before.”
