Champion Industries and Bi-Line Systems, both Welbilt brands, announced two promotions.
Daniel Short has been appointed as director of consultant services for the two brands, as well as Beverage-Air and Victory Refrigeration. In this role, Short will focus on fee-based consultant firms and key end users through targeted industry association events, company educational seminars and on-site visits.
Short brings extensive industry experience and a record of success to his new position, having served the past two years as regional sales and educational development manager for Beverage-Air and Victory Refrigeration. “Daniel played a key role in strengthening our market presence, building strategic relationships and advancing training initiatives,” Korey Brownlee, president of Beverage-Air and Victory, said in a news release.
Previously, Short spent nearly seven years as the marketing director for the Champion Industries and Bi-Line Systems teams. “His in-depth knowledge of our products, markets and customer needs uniquely positions him to successfully lead our consultant services strategy moving forward,” said Scott Cherevaty, president of the Champion Group.
In addition to Short’s new role, Champion and Bi-Line Systems promoted Ryan Kime to national sales manager.
In this new role, Kime will continue to lead the Eastern region as sales director while broadening his role to include national responsibilities. He will partner closely with buying groups, drive reporting and pricing initiatives, and elevate training and development.
Kime joined Champion and Bi-Line in 2017 in a customer service role and has built strong relationships and delivered consistent results, the company said. “Ryan has earned this opportunity. He delivers results, builds strong relationships and lifts the people around him,” Harrison Cavanaugh, vice president of sales and marketing at Champion and Bi-Line, said. “In his new role as national sales manager, he’ll help drive our growth and keep us focused on what matters most to our customers. I’m proud of his progress and excited for what’s ahead.”
