Atosa USA Sales Leader Retires After 30-Year Industry Career

Following a 30-year career in the foodservice industry, Rick Larkin has retired as director of sales, North, at Atosa USA.

Larkin’s time in the industry dates back to 1991, when he became the sales manager for Prime Food Marketing. In the years that followed, he held several sales roles with companies such as Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. and Cloverdale Foods. He first joined Atosa in 2019 as a regional sales manager, acting as a direct line between the equipment manufacturer and distributors across 10 states in the Midwest and North territories. He later moved to The Legacy Companies in 2024 before returning to Atosa at the beginning of 2026.

During his career, Larkin built lasting friendships with distributors and customers across the industry. In a social media announcement, Jennifer Ward, chief revenue officer at Atosa, called him one of her “dearest friends.” “He made this industry warmer and this company better for everyone who worked with him,” Ward said.

“I’ll miss him more than I can say, but I couldn’t be happier for him as he starts this next chapter,” she added.
