Fourteen team members from Avanti Restaurant Solutions dedicated their time on Aug. 23 to help a local nonprofit organization prepare for its annual chef competition fundraiser.

Bracken’s Kitchen, located in Garden Grove, California, is holding its Hungry Games 8.0 on Sept. 11. The event raises money to fight food insecurity by featuring lighthearted competition between local chefs, with attendees acting as the judges. The organization aims to raise $500,000 through this year’s event.

To support those efforts, the Avanti team helped get the kitchen and event space ready by painting, power-washing and landscaping, refreshing the overall look. “Volunteering with Bracken’s Kitchen was a meaningful opportunity for us to give back to the community and stand alongside an organization whose mission we deeply admire,” Avanti said. “As a company rooted in the restaurant solutions industry, we are honored to support the incredible work Bracken’s Kitchen does to fight food insecurity and provide meals for those in need.”
