A team of bikers from The Boelter Companies, led by company presidents Eric and Rick Boelter, joined more than 1,000 cyclists as they rolled through Milwaukee on Aug. 17 for the inaugural Audaxity Ride to End Cancer.

The event generated 3,981 donations from 111 teams, all of which will go toward supporting research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. As a sponsor, Boelter rallied associates to ride, volunteer and fundraise for the Ride to End Cancer. The company also sponsored one of the rest stops along the 25-mile city loop course. Inspired by the Boelter Superstore, the rest stop featured Boelter associates serving food and beverages to riders as they pedaled toward their fundraising goals.

“The research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center touches families, friends and neighbors right here in Milwaukee,” Eric Boelter said. “We’re proud to do our part by sponsoring the Audaxity ride and supporting the shared goal of ending cancer.”
