Culinary Depot Announces Two Hires

Culinary Depot has added two new hires to its team.

Ramon Avelar has joined the New York-based dealer as a category manager. He has more than 18 years of experience in category management, product curation, merchandising, inventory management, and supply chain logistics. Previously, he was an independent sales consultant and a retail sales manager for Equilibrium Group.

Joining Avelar at Culinary Depot is Samantha Murphy, who will take on the position of government lead retriever. Murphy has more than five years of experience in fast-paced, client-facing roles. She previously worked in foodservice and was a social media manager for The Pearl River Hotel in New York.
