BSI Elevates Regional Sales Manager to Lead Business Development Strategy
Mandi Vessey
BSI, a Food Service Holdings company that manufactures food guards and custom servery solutions, has promoted Mandi Vessey to director of business development.
Vessey retains responsibility of the Eastern region and BSI's strategic national accounts while taking on new responsibilities that include building out comprehensive training programs for consultants and dealers. Her new role will see her expanding the Food Consultant’s Society International (FCSI) training modules offered by BSI, developing and promoting consultant specifications, and establishing structured onboarding and ongoing learning opportunities for new and current staff.
As director of business development, Vessey will also lead efforts to cultivate strategic OEM partnerships. Drawing on her established industry relationships and deep product knowledge, she will help grow BSI's presence as a trusted vendor partner to manufacturers across the foodservice industry and adjacent markets.
“This is about building capability,” said Phil Harmon, president and CEO of Food Service Holdings, a FEDA manufacturer member. “We’re investing in a structure that lets us support our consultants, dealers, and end-user customers at a higher level — and Mandi is the right person to lead that work. Her relationships and product depth are an asset we’re now putting in front of the entire market.”
Vessey brings more than 20 years of experience at BSI to this expanded role, having advanced through the company from project management to her most recent role as Eastern regional sales manager. Over the course of her career, the company said she has built strong relationships with consultants and dealers and has remained an active member of key industry organizations, including the FCSI and the Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management (SHFM).
