Commercial Kitchen Stop’s Back Nine Beach Bash Sets Fundraising Record
Commercial Kitchen Stop raised $15,000 for a Florida charity at this year's golf tournament.
Now in its fifth year, Commercial Kitchen Stop’s annual Back Nine Beach Bash golf tournament tallied a record-high $15,000 raised for charity.
The total represents a 50% increase in giving compared to the 2025 event. All proceeds benefited HomeSafe of the Palm Beaches, a nationally accredited nonprofit that serves more than 14,000 infants, children, young adults, and families in South Florida through prevention and intervention programs. The organization operates four group homes in Palm Beach County and is one of only five specialized therapeutic group care agencies in Florida accredited to provide intensive therapy programs that help children heal and rebuild their confidence.
Held at Palm Beach National Golf Club, the tournament brought together 144 golfers across 36 teams for a four-person scramble built around community, competition, and giving back. “This event has become so much more than a round of golf,” said Chris Russo, director of revenue at Commercial Kitchen Stop and the tournament’s event chair and organizer. “Every year our sponsors, our golfers, and our partners show up for a cause that matters, and this year they delivered in a big way. A 50% increase in our donation to HomeSafe is a direct reflection of the generosity of this community. We are proud to put our name behind it, and we are already focused on making next year even bigger.”
As a member of FEDA and the PCR buying group, Commercial Kitchen Stop views community giving as an extension of the values shared throughout the distributor network. The Back Nine Beach Bash reflects a broader commitment among independent distributors to invest in the communities they serve, the company said.
“Giving back is part of who we are as a company and as part of the FEDA and PCR community,” Russo added. “The relationships we build in this industry are built on trust and shared values, and supporting HomeSafe is one of the most meaningful ways we can put those values into action.”
