Why FEDA Is Developing Industry Standards
Industry standards help businesses address shared challenges, improve consistency, reduce costs, and work more effectively across organizational boundaries. Trade associations like FEDA can facilitate this process by bringing manufacturers, distributors, and other industry professionals together to develop guidance that reflects real-world operating conditions and benefits the broader industry. Through its public review process, FEDA is inviting members to contribute their expertise to two draft standards designed to reduce freight damage and improve product data consistency.
