Kamran & Co., a FEDA distributor member based in Santa Barbara, California, has promoted Daniel Rios to vice president of project operations.

Rios began his career at Kamran in 2012 as a sheet metal apprentice. Since then, he has advanced through the organization as a journeyman, general superintendent, project manager, and project executive. Most recently, he served as general manager of Kamran Metalworks, the company’s division for specialty architectural metal fabrication. Over the course of his career, Rios has led complex foodservice equipment projects for major hospitality and entertainment destinations, including several large casinos in Las Vegas and a new professional football stadium.

“His progression from the field to executive leadership gives him a firsthand understanding of nearly every stage of project execution,” the company said in a statement.

As vice president of project operations, Rios will lead national project management, delivery, and execution of Kamran’s contract projects. His focus will be strengthening the systems, teams, and capabilities that allow the distributor to deliver exceptional work at scale.
