ITW Expands Dealer Service Support With Appointment

ITW Food Equipment Group has named Elton Johnson as the company’s new director of dealer service. In his new role, Johnson will serve as a dedicated point of contact for ITW’s distributor community, supporting installation quotes, service opportunities, and escalation needs across the ITW Food Equipment Group family of brands.

“Elton’s role is an important next step in our ongoing support of our dealer partners,” said Markus Glueck, group president for ITW Food Equipment Group. “He understands the day-to-day service challenges firsthand and gives our dealers a senior, experienced contact who can help them leverage Hobart Service and its more than 1,200 factory-trained technicians. We have already seen great success on large customer projects when the dealer, ITW sales and product line teams join forces. Adding the service component from the beginning allows us to bring equipment, dealer expertise, and service together as one coordinated solution for the customer.”

Johnson, who previously served as a regional director with Hobart Service, brings more than two decades of service management and leadership experience to the position. The company said his operational experience and established dealer relationships position him well to fully connect ITW’s equipment brands — including Hobart, Vulcan, and Traulsen — with one of the industry’s largest company-owned service organizations.
