Singer Equipment Expands Eric Santagato’s Leadership Role

Singer Equipment Co. has promoted Eric Santagato to president of distribution and contract, PA/NY. The move expands his leadership responsibilities across two important areas of the company’s business.

“Eric’s success goes well beyond the results,” President and CEO Fred Singer said. “He has built the people, infrastructure, and capabilities behind that growth. Eric has demonstrated an ability to see where the business needs to go, build the organization required to get there, and then execute. He has earned the trust of our employees, customers, and leadership team through his judgment, accountability, and commitment to doing what is right for Singer.”

In his expanded role, Santagato will continue to lead Singer’s distribution business while also assuming leadership responsibility for the company’s PA/NY contract business. During his two-year tenure as president of the distribution business, the segment more than doubled in revenue and was transformed from a strong regional business into a national distribution platform. He also expanded Singer’s warehouse footprint and strengthened the logistics network and capabilities necessary to serve customers across the country. At the same time, the company credited him with building a talented leadership team and organizational structure designed to support both the growth of the distribution business and Singer as a whole.
