New Division Brings Together Middleby’s Ice Brands

Middleby has launched Middleby Ice Solutions, a new division of the Middleby Beverage Group that includes ice brands Follett, Icetro and Kloppenberg — all FEDA manufacturer members.

“Forming Middleby Ice Solutions represents a big step forward in our goal to be the world leader in ice,” said Korey Kohl, president of Middleby Beverage. “By aligning our well-known, premium brands, we can accelerate bringing the latest innovations to the market quickly while better serving our customers at a very high level through every part of the buying process.”

Middleby Ice Solutions aims to build upon its established customer base in many diverse areas, including foodservice, healthcare, workplace, and institutional segments worldwide, the company said in a news release. The group offers a wide range of ice and water products with various ice types and innovative equipment solutions positioned to address rapidly evolving industry trends.

Overseeing the new division is Group President Michael Raycher. Since joining Follett in 2012, Raycher has steadily taken on greater leadership responsibilities, most recently as president of Follett. He brings more than 30 years of leadership in sales, marketing and manufacturing to the new position.
