Two Mechanical Engineers Join AyrKing

AyrKing, a FEDA manufacturer member and part of CFS Brands, has added Alex Baker and Rushi Bhakta to its engineering team.

Both new hires join AyrKing as mechanical engineers and will be responsible for designing, developing and testing mechanical components and systems for food preparation machinery. They’ll ensure the systems meet performance, safety and regulatory standards while optimizing efficiency and durability for commercial kitchen environments, the company said in a news release.

Baker has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems, maintenance and equipment repair. Previously, he was an engineering intern at AyrKing, where he quickly proved to be a valuable contributor to the team, the company said. A retired Army combat veteran originally from Ohio, Baker earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from East Coast Polytechnic Institute.

Bhakta brings to AyrKing experience from his work in the Additive Manufacturing Institute of Science and Technology lab at the University of Louisville. During his internship with AyrKing, Bhakta demonstrated the ability to quickly understand the business and its procedures, the company said.
