New President Takes Over at Middleby’s Carter-Hoffmann

Andrea Coldwell
Middleby, a FEDA manufacturer member, has promoted Andrea Coldwell to president of Carter-Hoffmann. In this role, she will lead the operations and strategic initiatives for the Carter-Hoffmann, Nu-Vu and Doyon brands.
Before her promotion, Coldwell was general manager of Middleby Marshall, where she made significant on-site process improvements that resulted in immediate efficiency gains. She was also deeply involved in the development, branding and marketplace launch of several new products, including Longwave.
“Andrea has proven to be an effective and inspiring leader, achieving many milestones in a relatively short timeframe,” said James K. Pool III, chief technology and operations officer at Middleby. “Andrea’s broad experience in accounting, operations and engineering has been an asset to all at Middleby. I am confident the well-known brands and product innovations from Carter-Hoffmann, NuVu and Doyon are well-positioned for future success under her leadership.”
Coldwell has excelled in roles in operational accounting with manufacturing companies throughout her career, the company said in a news release. Prior to being named general manager of Middleby Marshall in 2024, she was controller for the brand, where her financial acumen and operational expertise streamlined accounting processes and improved inventory management. Before joining Middleby in 2023 she was the senior operations controlling manager at Mizkan, a role that saw her overseeing 14 manufacturing sites.
