Pentair Bolsters Manitowoc Ice Portfolio With Mannhardt Acquisition

Pentair Water Solutions has acquired Mannhardt, a manufacturer of commercial- and industrial-capacity ice-storage solutions and handling systems. The move will expand the product portfolio of Manitowoc Ice, part of Pentair and a FEDA manufacturer member.

In a news release, Manitowoc said the expansion underscores its commitment to delivering industry-leading, innovative ice solutions that empower customers to operate more efficiently and reliably.

“For more than 60 years, Manitowoc Ice has set the standard for product quality, innovation, and comprehensive customer support, backed by one of the ice industry’s strongest technical service networks,” said Gwen Bialas, group president for Pentair Commercial Water Solutions. “We are thrilled to add Mannhardt’s ice storage expertise to our portfolio, which will allow us to better meet the needs of our foodservice, hospitality, and commercial customers through complete, integrated ice systems.”
