Strata GPO Taps Middleby Group President as Next CEO

Strata GPO, a buying group for foodservice equipment and supplies dealers, has named industry veteran John Perruccio as its new CEO.

Perruccio joins Strata GPO after spending 22 years at The Middleby Corp. During that time, he held several senior management positions at the global equipment manufacturer, including at Southbend, Crown, Bon Chef, and Toastmaster. Most recently, he served as group president of strategic channel development.

“I’m excited to join the Strata team and continue building on their foundation,” Perruccio said in a statement. “Strata’s focus on enhancing dealer profitability through manufacturing partnerships, member alignment with vendors and the development of advanced technology tools are what attracted me to the group."

Perruccio succeeds Mike Jewett, who passed away unexpectedly in April. CFO Andrew Meyer served as interim CEO during the past two months.

With our rebranding behind us, this new chapter will be primarily focused on delivering more value to our members through increased profits and innovative technology solutions.”
