UNOX, a FEDA manufacturer member, has begun production at its first manufacturing facility in the United States.

The $20 million investment marks a milestone in the company’s global expansion. The facility, located in Denver, North Carolina, is manufacturing products specifically designed for the North American market, such as the recently launched CONVEX convection oven.

“Opening our first U.S. manufacturing facility marks a pivotal moment in UNOX’s commitment to the North American foodservice industry,” said Derrick Richardson, president and CEO of UNOX North America. “By establishing domestic production capabilities, we're not only streamlining our supply chain but also ensuring we can respond more quickly to the specific needs of American operators.”

The new North Carolina facility is designed to reduce lead times for North American customers, provide faster service and technical support, enable customized products for regional market requirements, and strengthen relationships with domestic suppliers and partners.

“We have started production in our new plant in the United States, the first one abroad, a key element of a strategy that sees Italy at the center of our global network,” UNOX Group CEO Nicola Michelon said. “The North Carolina facility represents our dedication to supporting the growth and innovation of the American foodservice industry while maintaining our commitment to quality and excellence.”
