Boelter, a FEDA distributor member, announced the hirings of George Kleinhans and Luke Hursh. The pair will strengthen the company’s leadership team as it continues to scale operations and enhance merchandising capabilities to support ongoing growth.

As vice president of operations, Kleinhans brings operational experience across manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain organizations. With a proven track record of leading high-return transformations, he is well-positioned to help scale operations while maintaining Boelter’s customer-first approach. Kleinhans will provide strategic leadership for supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and enterprise integration, the company said in a news release.

“This is a pivotal role addition for Boelter,” President Eric Boelter said. “George will be charged with aligning people and processes in a way that strengthens operational performance. We are grateful to have him on our leadership team.”

Luke Hursh, director of merchandising and category management, will lead the product category team, driving strategy and execution across Boelter’s foodservice channels. Before joining Boelter, Hursh spent seven years at Clark Associates, serving in several category manager roles and, most recently, as director of merchandising, where he oversaw multi-category B2B durable goods portfolios.

“Luke brings strong industry knowledge and valuable omnichannel experience to our category management and merchandising team,” said Jason Prondzinski, executive vice president, foodservice. “We’re excited to have him help drive the next phase of growth at Boelter.”
