Boelter Golf Outing Raises $110,000 for Food Charities

Boelter presidents Eric and Rick Boelter expressed their gratitude to golfers and sponsors at the 8th Annual Boelter Charity Golf Outing. Meanwhile, Vincent Noth, executive director of Kinship Community Food Center — one of the beneficiaries of the outing — shared stories about the lasting change his organization creates in the local community.
Boelter team members and partners put their backswings and short games to good use at the 8th Annual Boelter Charity Golf Outing.
The event was held in mid-August at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, Wisconsin. Participants and sponsors raised $110,000 — nearly double the $60,000 total from last year’s event. Those funds will go toward supporting the Boelter Community Table, an initiative that combines the FEDA distributor member’s philanthropic efforts into one program.
Each year, Boelter leadership and the company’s BeOne Committee select a group of nonprofit organizations to support through the Community Table. This year’s program is focused on organizations that build community and improve lives through food, including:
- Kinship Community Food Center - Milwaukee
- Appetite for Change - Minneapolis
- Food for Thought - Toledo, Ohio
- Inspiration Corporation - Chicago
- Wholesome Wave Georgia - Atlanta
- Urban Harvest STL – St. Louis
“This incredible support strengthens our Community Table mission and helps us continue to create a meaningful impact in the communities we serve,” Boelter said in a statement.
