Clark Associates’ procurement non-durables team lent its time to help set up the Hospice & Community Care Labor Day Auction.

A group of 17 employees from Clark Associates pitched in to support the Hospice & Community Care Labor Day Auction at the beginning of September.

The auction was held at the Solanco Fairgrounds in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, a neighboring town to Clark’s headquarters in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Members of Clark’s procurement non-durables operations team volunteered their time to help Hospice & Community Care set up the fairgrounds to hold the event. They unloaded trailers filled with furniture and tools, assembled miscellaneous pieces and organized donations in the used items building. Clark volunteers also sorted plants for the plant auction and placed tables and chairs in the food tent area.

With the help of volunteers like those from Clark, Hospice & Community Care raised more than $1 million at this year’s Labor Day Auction. All proceeds from the event go toward providing hospice and palliative care, as well as bereavement support to the thousands of patients and families served by the organization.
