Vollrath Reveals Plans for Modern Manufacturing Facility at Wisconsin Headquarters
The 110,000-square-foot project will be located at the manufacturer’s headquarters in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, with the first phase estimated to cost $40 million. It is intended to reinforce Vollrath’s long-standing commitment to its high-value manufacturing in the United States. By expanding and upgrading its Sheboygan operations, the company plans to strengthen its domestic manufacturing footprint and ensure that critical know-how and production capabilities remain anchored in the community where Vollrath began.

UNOX's First U.S. Facility Starts Production

VP of Sales Joins Middleby Beverage Group
Valorie Silvestri will be responsible for driving sales and executing strategies for new and existing Middleby brand drink dispensing systems throughout the beverage portfolio, the company said in a news release. Her initial focus will be on commercializing Middleby’s new Gravity and Fizzbot products.
  
Alto-Shaam Taps Industry Veteran for Senior Regional Sales Manager Role
Brian Hageman will be responsible for driving sales growth across the South Central region by nurturing relationships with new and existing customers and working alongside dealer, distributor and consultant partners to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Navigating a Complex Industrial Real Estate Environment
The warehouse building boom of the last few years appears to be over. Construction deliveries for new speculative industrial developments are estimated to have dropped by 35 percent in 2025, and a similar or slightly greater reduction is projected for 2026. This construction downturn is happening even as demand for new warehouses remains high.


Executive Order Lays Groundwork for National AI Regulatory Framework
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday, Dec. 11, designed to limit states from passing regulations on artificial intelligence (AI). Additionally, the order states that the Trump administration will work with Congress to develop and implement a framework that establishes a minimally burdensome national standard for regulating AI. Business advocacy groups and trade associations praised the order, pointing out that it would prevent the propagation of individual state rules that may be overly restrictive or conflict with one another.
